8月15日～8月24日の間、昨年度交流協定を締結したシンガポール工科大学（SIT）への第1回目のリハビリテーション研修を実施し、リハビリテーション学部 理学療法学科生6名、作業療法学科生6名、引率教員2名が参加しました。シンガポールでは、今年5月に本学を訪れたSITの学生たちが温かく歓迎してくれたおかげで、楽しく充実した研修を終えることができました。

SCU had the first study visit to SIT from August 15th to 24th, 2018 for six students of physical therapy course and six students of occupational therapy course in School of Rehabilitation Sciences, SCU.  Also two of faculty members accompanied them.  All of them received a warm welcome from the SIT students and staffs who came to visit SCU in May during their stay in Singapore.  SCU really appreciates the wonderful hospitality of SIT!

3月15日（木）から25日（日）の日程で、本学看護学部の学部生8名および引率の看護教員が、交流協定締結校である米国カリフォルニア州のサンフランシスコ近郊にあるサミュエルメリット大学看護学部を拠点として研修を行っています。
Eight of Seirei Christopher University (SCU) nursing students and three faculty members are visiting Orkland, California from March 16 to 23 for the exchange program arranged by School of Nursing, Samuel Merritt University (SMU).

研修中は、SMUで実施されているシミュレーション授業を体験すべく、SMU教員による1日演習にも本学学生が英語でチャレンジしました。

SCU students experienced one day program at the simulation lab that is used for SMU classes.  Boot camp skills were instructed by SMU staffs.

3月21日（水）

研修のハイライトの1つ、John Muir Medical Center, Concord（総合病院）を訪問し、チームに分かれて現地の看護師さんのシャドーイング（影のように密着し職場での仕事を観察する）を行いました。

One of the highlight is visiting the John Muir Medical Center, Concord.  SCU students shadowed the nurses of the general hospital in three teams.

1日の終わりには、アメリカらしい大きなステーキでディナーを楽しみました！

研修参加者全員での夕食会

2017年3月20日～3月30日にカリフォルニア州のサミュエルメリット大学を拠点に行われたアメリカ看護研修の報告会を2回に分けて行いました。

日時：4月27日（木）、4月28日（金）どちらも3時限目

参加学生：合計89名

研修参加者による研修の振返りとハイライトなど、パワーポイントを使って詳しく発表しました。発表後、引率の先生からは参加者が研修を通してタフに成長したコメントや、報告会に参加していた藤本看護学部長からは大きく成長した看護学部生達の今後にかける期待を込めた応援メッセージをいただきました。また、次回のアメリカ看護研修に興味がある学生向けに、国際交流センターから募集時期や申込み手順についての情報提供もありました。

On April 27 and 28, participants held briefing sessions on Study Visit to USA for other students and faculty of School of Nursing.  Participants of the study visit learned and enjoyed a lot through generous support by Samuel Merritt University in California.

研修のハイライトの1つ、John Muir Medical Center, Concord（総合病院）を訪問しました。病院で早朝の看護師さんたちの仕事を見せていただくため、とても早起きをして頑張りました！

3月20日（月）から30日（木）の日程で本学看護学部の学部生10名および看護教員3名が、交流協定締結校である米国カリフォルニア州のサンフランシスコ近郊にあるサミュエルメリット大学を拠点とし、研修をスタートさせました。

Ten of Seirei Christopher University (SCU) nursing students and three faculty members are visiting Orkland, California from March 20 to 29 for the exchange program for nursing with Samuel Merritt University (SMU).

研修の初日は、オリエンテーションの他、SMUのキャンパスツアーやSMU学生主催の歓迎会などを開いて頂きました。
