今年度夏に大学間交流協定を締結した韓国のカトリックサンジ大学より、社会福祉学科の先生2名が、介護に関する研修を受講するため、来学されました。 研修は、2017年1月9日（月）～1月11日（水）の3日間で、本学社会福祉学部介護福祉学科教員を講師陣とし、生活支援技術、福祉用具の活用および自立支援介護に関する内容で行われました。 最終日には、双方で研修に関する意見交換を行い、カトリックサンジ大学側からは、「大変勉強になると共に、多くの気づきを得ることができました、韓国での今後の介護福祉教育に生かしたいと思います。」という感想をいただきました。古川介護福祉学科長からは「今回のような外国の方対象の研修は、何を伝えるか改めて原点に立ち返り、分かりやすくポイントを絞った内容になるよう組み立て直す機会となり、新鮮な気持ちで行うことができました。今後も両校の交流が深まることを期待しています。」と締めくくり、最後に横尾惠美子社会福祉学部長より2名の先生へ修了証が授与されました。

国際交流イベント「クリスマスパーティ」を開催しました

12月16日（金）に国際交流センター主催の第3回国際交流イベントとして「クリスマスパーティ」を開催しました。 当日の司会進行はすべて英語で行われ、参加者全員でのゲームやクリスマスキャロルの他、フィンランドからのサンタクロースも現れ、アメリカで人気の『ホワイトエレファント』ギフト交換を行う等、国際交流に関心がある学生と教職員が一緒に大盛り上がりの1時間半でした。

2016年度国際看護実習を9月5日～9月16日本学交流協定締結校であるシンガポール・ナンヤン理工学院（NYP）の協力のもと、シンガポール国内の様々な医療施設等で実施しました。
実習生としてシンガポールに派遣された2名の学生は、総合病院や地域病院での実習だけでなく、小学校を訪問し健康教育を学んだり、訪問看護師に同行し個人のお宅を訪問したりするなど、シンガポールの看護の実際を幅広く体験し、帰国後それぞれの実習成果を教員および来年度の対象学年である看護学部3年次生に向けて報告しました。
Two of SCU School of Nursing senior students reported their attachment experience in Singapore from September 5th to 16th to all the junior students in School of Nursing. The debriefing session was held on November 18th.

【国際看護実習】とは・・・
海外での実習を希望する4年次生2名が、シンガポール国内の様々な医療施設で2週間の実習（ｼｬﾄﾞｰｲﾝｸﾞ）を行います。実習では、シンガポールの人々の健康と保健・医療の現状について理解を深め、健康に影響を及ぼす原因等について日本の現状と比較しながら考えます。
ナンヤン理工学院から下記の期間で合計4名の実習生を受け入れました。
【看護実習】
期 間：2016年9月3日（土）～9月30日（金）
実習生：ナンヤン理工学院ヘルスサイエンス学部看護学科生、3年次生2名
本学でのオリエンテーションと講義を受けた後、聖隷三方原病院、聖隷浜松病院、浜名湖エデンの園、聖隷健康診断センターで実習を行いました。

【作業療法実習】
期 間：2016年10月22日（土）～11月4日（金）
実習生：ナンヤン理工学院ヘルスサイエンス学部作業療法学科生、2年次生2名
本学でのオリエンテーションと講義を受けた後、聖隷浜松病院、デイサービスセンターみをつくし、ワークセンター大きな木、ワークセンターふたばで見学実習を行いました。
最終日には、大城学部長、新宮学科長など先生方へ実習報告をしたのち、修了書を受取りました！

8月4日（木）に中国出身のリハビリテーション学部の顧教授を講師としてお招きし、
国際交流イベントプログラムである、中国文化体験をテーマとした「水餃子料理教室」を開催しました。27名の学生が参加しました。
はじめに、顧先生から中国の文化や2017年3月に実施する中国研修についてのお話がありました。
早速調理開始です。
本場の餃子らしく皮から作りました！
顧先生の指導のもと餃子の皮に包んでいきます。
最初はなかなかうまくいかず、苦戦していましたが…
最後には上手に包めるようになりました！
その後は、包んだ餃子を茹でて完成です。
茹で上がった餃子を特製スープと一緒においしく頂きました！
参加した学生は、本場中国の味に大満足でした。
中国研修は2年に1度しか開催されません。
今回は中国と日本の保健医療福祉の違いを体験するチャンスです。
受入れ先の第三軍医大学は、国立の基幹大学で、3つの附属病院を有し、
エボラ出血熱の際も医療団を派遣するなどの社会貢献をしています。
募集は10月より開始します。まずは、10月に実施する説明会にご参加ください！

7月19日、アメリカ・テキサスA&M大学より、言語聴覚学科の学生5名と引率教員2名が来学しました。
1日だけの短い期間でしたが、講義や施設見学（大学、三方原病院、十字の園）を通して日本の言語聴覚について学びました。
On July 19th, five ST students and two chaperones from Texas A&M University arrived at our university.
Even though they only spent one day studying in our University, they have learned about ST in Japan through the lecture and facility visit (University, Seirei Mikatahara General Hospital and Jujino-sono).
到着後、5号館の前で本学言語聴覚学科の学生及び教員と写真を撮りました。
When they arrived, we took a commemorative photo with our ST students and faculty members in front of Building No. 5.
オリエンテーションを行った後、テキサスA&M大学のスマライ先生より、言語聴覚学科の学生を対象に「アメリカの言語病理学と聴覚学」について講義をして頂きました。
After orientation, our ST students were given the lecture on “Speech pathology and Audiology in the USA” by Dr. Sumalai.
同じ時間、テキサスA&Mの学生は、本学の柴本言語聴覚学科長より、「日本のST制度及び教育制度」について講義を受けました。
During the same time, Texas A&M students were given the lecture on ST care and education systems in Japan by the chair of the ST department, Dr. Shibamoto.
お昼を挟んで、午後からのキャンパスツアーでは、聖隷歴史資料館を訪れ、聖隷の精神について学んでもらいました。
In the afternoon, during the campus tour, we visited the Seirei historical museum and learned the philosophy of Seirei.
その後、聖隷三方原病院の見学です。
まず、リハビリテーション病棟の見学、ドクターヘリの見学、最後にホスピスの見学を行いました。
Then we visited Seirei Mikatahara General Hospital.
At first, we visited rehabilitation ward, then we went on the roof top and see the air ambulance. Lastly, we visited the hospice.
1日の最後の修了式では1人1人が柴本言語聴覚学科長より修了証を手渡されました。
At the closing ceremony; the last program of the day, everyone was handed a certificate of completion one by one from the chair of ST department Dr. Shibamoto.
テキサスA&Mからは、記念にTシャツを2枚もらいました。
In return we were given the two university T-shirts as a keepsake.
この後、皆さんはタイや中国を訪れた後、8月11日にテキサスへ帰国するとのことです。
After leaving Japan, they are going to visit Thailand and China and return to Texas on August 11th.
無事に研修旅行を続けて欲しいと思います。
We do hope that the rest of their trip will continue safely.
とうとう最終日です。午前中は聖隷三方原病院の梨田課長と加藤課長に本学にお越しいただき、エンゼルメイクの方法論と実践について教えて頂きました。
みんな上手に化粧を施していました。
This is finally the last day.
In the morning, the managers at Seirei Mikatahara hospital named Ms. Nashida and Ms. Kato came to our university, and they give us a lecture on the theory and practice of angel makeup.
Everyone applied makeup on each other very well.
午後からお昼を食べながらの意見交換会です。
この研修で学んだことをSCUの学生とともに共有しました。
In the afternoon, we held the opinion exchange closing session while eating lunch.
We shared what SMU students have learned in this training with SCU students.
1人1人が藤本看護部長より修了証を手渡されました。
Everyone was handed a certificate of completion one by one from the Nursing dean Ms.Fujimoto.
最期に記念撮影です。
記念撮影が終わった後も、みんな「帰りたくない」と涙を流しながら別れを惜しみました。
Even after taking the commemoration photo, they were unwilling to part from each other with tears in their eyes saying, "I do not want to go back."
本当にアッと言う間の10日間でした。SMU学生さんが、楽しんで、たくさんのことに気付いて帰って頂けたかどうか、何よりの願いです。
The ten days flew by. We hope that the SMU students had a lot of fun, learned a lot, and will bring back a lot of memories to United States.
日曜日は大型バスでSCUの学生と一緒に市内観光に行きました。
On Sunday, they went sightseeing in Hamamatsu with SCU students in a large bus.
一番初めに竜ヶ岩洞です。
They visited Ryugashido cave.
次に方広寺。方広寺では、精進料理を食べました。
Next, they visited Hokoji-temple.
At the Hokoji-temple, they ate “Syojin-Ryori”, a vegetarian meal.
また、住職さんに貴重なお話をしていただきました。
なかなか聞くことが出来ない話を丁寧にして頂き、本学の学生も喜んでいました。
In addition, the chief priest shared a valuable story with us.
The chief priest carefully guided us and shared stories that he does not usually share with visitors, so the SCU students were very pleased.
四季彩堂では、日本らしい小物をお土産に購入しました。
At the Shikisido, a Japanese souvenir shop, they purchased souvenirs or Japanese accessories.
最期は浜松城で解散しました。とても楽しい1日でした。
At last, everyone was disbanded in Hamamatsu Castle.
It was a very pleasant day.
午前中は2つのグループに分かれて三方原デイケアセンターと和合せいれいの里を訪問しました。また訪問看護師に同行して患者さん宅に伺った学生もいました。
In the morning, they were divided into two groups and visited Mikatahara Daycare Center and Wago-seireinosato.
In addition some of the students visited patient’s home with home visiting nurses.
午後は母性看護実習の一環でフットケアを体験しました。
一列に並んでSCUの学生にフットケアをしてもらっています。
In the afternoon, they experienced foot care as a course on maternity nursing.
Arranged in a line, they each receive foot care treatment by SCU students.
皆でお昼寝の時間です。・・・じゃなくて、瞑想の時間です。

この後、ホストファミリーの学生と合流し、土曜日は思い思いの休日をホストと一緒に楽しみました。
After this, they meet their host family students and enjoyed their holiday respectively with their host students.
午前中はホスピスに行きました。患者さんやその家族に対する細かい配慮がされていることに気づき、驚いていました。
In the morning, we visited the hospice. They are surprised and impressed to find out how much attention to detail is taken in the care of patients and their families.
午後は聖隷三方原病院へ病院の災害対策について学びに行きました。看護部の松下次長より、詳しい説明を受けた後、院内を見学させて頂きました。
In the afternoon we visited Seirei Mikatahara general hospital to learn about disaster preparedness in the hospital. Maneger Ms. Matsusita gave a detailed lecture.
途中、フライトナースの長谷川さんから話を聞くことができ、中にはフライトナースになりたいと言う学生もいました。
And after that we were taken on the guided tour through the hospital.
During the tour we meet a flight nurse Ms. Hasegawa and have an engaging discussion with her.Some SMU students said they want to be a flight nurse.
最後はヘリポートでドクターヘリに乗ることもできました。
At last they could ride in the air ambulance on the heliport.
