看護学部長より、日本の保健医療福祉制度の講義を受けて概要を把握しました。
They were given the lecture on health care insurance systems in Japan and by the dean of the school of nursing, Fujimoto.

おおぞら療育センターを見学しました。アメリカにはこの様な施設は少ないため、皆さんそのケアの手厚さに驚かれていました。
We visited a facility for the severely mentally and physically disabled. Because facilities like this are rare in the United States, every SMU student was impressed with the care and warm hospitality the nurses give.

午後は、本学の災害対策について講義を受けました。アメリカでの自分自身の災害に向けての準備を考えるきっかけになったようです。
During the afternoon, they were given the lecture about SCU disaster preparedness.
This lecture seems to have caused them to consider their own preparedness for natural disaster.

夕方には、夕食歓迎会を開きました。
In the evening, we hold a welcome dinner party.

6月6日、SMUの皆さんが大学に到着しました。
到着10分前から、みんなドキドキしながらSMUの学生と教職員を待っていました。
On June 6, everyone had arrived at our university.10 minutes before your arrival, everyone was waiting to meet SMU students and faculty with pounding hearts.

感激の再会です。
It was a touching reunion.

5号館の前で全員で写真を撮りました。
In front of Building No. 5, we took a ceremonial photograph.

まず初めにオリエンテーションです。
これは、SMUの皆さんが自己紹介しているところです。
First of all, we did orientation.
This is the picture in which everyone is doing a self-introduction.

キャンパスツアーでは、聖隷歴史資料館を訪れ、3学部の演習室を見学しましました。
During the campus tour, they visited the Seirei historical museum and the training rooms of the 3 schools.

こちらは介護実習室です。
特殊浴槽にだんだん沈んでいきます。
This is the care work training room.
One of the students is gradually submerged into the special bathtub.

母性看護実習室では、妊婦体験着を着用して妊婦さんがどう感じるかを体験しました。
In the maternal nursing practice room, they wore a pregnancy suit in order to experience how a pregnant woman feels. 

研修最終日。
ナンヤン理工学院の学生と本学の学生で、竜ヶ岩洞、イオンショッピングモール市野と浜松城に観光に出かけました。
On March 18th, NYP and SCU student went to Ryugashi-do, AEON Shoppoing Mall and Hamamatsu Castle for sight seeing.

ナンヤンの学生の皆さん、本学を訪問してくれてありがとうございました。

研修4日目。
午前中は、全員で浜松市リハビリテーション病院を訪問しました。
On March 17th, in the morning we went to the Seirei Hamamatsu Rehabilitation Center Hospital.

その後、理学療法学科の学生は、聖隷デイサービスセンター三方原を訪問し,
作業療法学科の学生は、ワークセンター大きな木を訪問しました。
After that, PT students visited Day-servise center Mikatahara,and Ot students visited Work Center Ookinaki.

その後、大学に戻って閉会式を行い修了書を授与しました。
Then, we did a closing session at SCU.

研修3日目。
看護学生は午前中にエンゼルメイクを体験しました。
On March 16, in the morning, Nursing students experienced postmortem make-up; Angel care.

皆とても真剣に取り組んでいます。
Everyone was working seriously.

理学・作業療法学科の学生は根洗学園を訪問し、園児との交流を楽しみました。
PT and OT went to “Nearai Gakuen”.

午後は、全員で聖隷三方原病院を訪問し、ホスピスや院内助産所たんぽぽを見学しました。
また、屋上ではドクターヘリを間近で見る事が出来ました！
In the afternoon, we visited the “Seirei-mikatahara hospital”.
We visited the hospice and midwifery section in the hospital.
On the roof, we saw an air ambulance.

その後は、本学の学生が交流会を開催しました。
ナンヤンの学生もパフォーマンスを披露してくれました。
After that, we did some student interactive activities.
NYP students gave us an excellent performance.

皆で色々なゲームを楽しみました！
Everyone had fun doing a variety of games.

研修2日目。
NYPの学生は各学科に分かれて各学科の講義を受けました。
On March 15, in the morning, NYP students were divided into departments, and took a lecture about the SCU education.

その後、看護の学生はおおぞら療育センターを訪問しました。
Then, nursing students went to the “Ozoraryoiku Center”.

理学療法学科の学生はテーピングについて本学の理学療法学科の学生と共に学びました。
PT students have learned how to do taping with SCU students.

作業療法学科の学生は、本学の作業療法学科の学生とワークショップを行いました。
OT students did workshops with SCU students.

午後からは、看護学生はゆうゆうの里を訪問し、理学・作業療法学科の学生は十字の園を訪問しました。
In the afternoon, nursing students went to “Yu Yu-no sato”, and , PT and OT students went to “Jyuji-no-sono”.

3月14日研修がいよいよ始まりました。
始めにオリエンテーションを行いました。写真は自己紹介をしている様子です。
On March 14, the training programs finally started.
First of all, we did orientation.

その後、ナンヤンの学生は、日本の医療保険システムについて講義を受けました。
After that, NYP students listened to a lecture about the Japanese medical insurance system.

午後は、キャンパスツアーを行い、NYPの学生は聖隷歴史資料館や各学部の実習室を見学しました。
During the campus tour in the afternoon, they visited the Seirei historical museum and the training rooms of the 3 schools.

母性看護実習室では、妊婦さんの体験をしました。
In the maternal nursing practice room, they wore a pregnancy suit in order to experience how a pregnant woman feels. 

また、茶道も体験しました。
In addition, they experienced the tea ceremony.

3月12日（土）に本学の交流協定校であるシンガポールのナンヤン理工学院の研修生22名（看護学生9名、理学療法学科生10名、
作業療法学科生3名）が来学しました。
週末は、ホストファミリーと過ごし日本の文化を体験しました。
14日（月）から始まる研修では、病院や施設の訪問も
予定しています。

On Saturday, March 12, 22 NYP students(9 Nursing, 10 PT, 3 OT) arrived at SCU for study trip from Singapore.
They spent their weekends with their host families.
They explored Hamamatsu city and experienced the Japanese culture. 
During this study trip, NYP students are going to learn about the Japanese health care system over lectures as well as the visit of hospitals and health care facilities. 

8月4日（火）・8/5(水)に、テキサス A&M 国際大学（アメリカ）から、言語聴覚学科の学生11名・教員2名が来学しました。
研修生たちは、約1ヶ月かけて、中国・タイなどのアジア各国を訪問しており、日本が最後の訪問国です。

研修1日目は、本学に到着後、オリエンテーションを受け、日本の言語聴覚療法の現状に関する講義を受講しました。

本学学生との交流会を兼ねた昼食の後は、テキサス A&M インターナショナル大学教員による講義などが行われました。

研修2日目は、キャンパスツアーからスタートです。

歴史資料館、図書館をはじめ、本学各学部（看護・リハビリテーション・社会福祉）関連教室や実習室などを見学しました。

午後は、大学近隣医療施設の見学です。
まずは、聖隷三方原病院のリハビリテーション病棟とヘリポートに向かいました。

ヘリポートでは、間近で見るドクターヘリに非常に興味を示していました。

続いての聖隷ホスピスでは、日本のスタッフの手厚い対応や病室からの眺めに感心していました。

その後、聖隷おおぞら療育センターを見学し、本学で閉会式を行いました。
リハビリテーション学部　学部長より修了証を手渡します。
本学での研修は2日間でしたが、学生との交流、教員との交流を通し、両国の言語聴覚療法の現状を共有することができました。

研修生たちは、本学見学後、東京観光をしたのち、8月8日（土）にアメリカ・テキサスに帰国します。

6日目、研修最終日です。

研修生は午前中、浜松市リハビリテーション病院で、摂食嚥下介助の講義や、リハビリテーションの現場を見学しました。

午後、看護学科生は聖隷ホスピスの見学へ、理学療法学科生は本学教員によるテーピングの演習へ、作業療法学科生はワークセンター大きな木の見学へ向かいます。
こちらは理学療法学科生が体験したテーピング演習の様子です。

皆さん、しっかりとテーピングができました。

その後、意見交流会を行いました。

研修の様子を写真で振り返り、感想や気づきを発表し合います。

研修生からは、「ホームステイは、言葉の壁が気にならないくらい楽しかった。」
「施設に見学に行ったとき、シンガポールの旗を振ってくれるなど、おもてなしの心に感動した。」
「大学の周りの医療福祉施設の充実さに驚いた。実習先が近くて羨ましい。」
などの感想がありました。

意見交換会後、本学看護学部・リハビリテーション学部長より、研修生一人ひとりに修了証が授与されます。
研修生からも、素敵なプレゼントをいただきました。

本日をもって、研修生の全てのプログラムは終了しました。
研修生は明日（6月19日）、浜松市・磐田市の観光をした後、6月20日にシンガポールに帰国します。最後まで日本を楽しんで行ってくださいね。
