研修のハイライトの1つ、John Muir Medical Center, Concord（総合病院）を訪問しました。病院で早朝の看護師さんたちの仕事を見せていただくため、とても早起きをして頑張りました！

3/21~3/29の間、カリフォルニア州オークランド市にある交流協定締結校であるサミュエルメリット大学(SMU)を拠点として、現在実施中のアメリカ看護研修の様子をご紹介します。

3月20日（月）から30日（木）の日程で本学看護学部の学部生10名および看護教員3名が、交流協定締結校である米国カリフォルニア州のサンフランシスコ近郊にあるサミュエルメリット大学を拠点とし、研修をスタートさせました。

Ten of Seirei Christopher University (SCU) nursing students and three faculty members are visiting Orkland, California from March 20 to 29 for the exchange program for nursing with Samuel Merritt University (SMU).

研修の初日は、オリエンテーションの他、SMUのキャンパスツアーやSMU学生主催の歓迎会などを開いて頂きました。

They took a campus tour at SMU.

SCU students are welcomed by many of SMU students and faculty members of School of Nursing at the welcome party!

2月25日（土）

2月25日（土）にナンヤン理工学院の研修生24名（看護学科生12名、作業療法学科生12名）が来学しました。ホストファミリーに会い、和気あいあいとそれぞれのお家に向かいました。週末は、ホストファミリーと過ごし日本の文化を体験しました。

On February 25, everyone had arrived at our university.

In front of Building No. 5, we took a photograph with their host family.

Everyone went away with their family and it looked fun.

On February 26, each of them spent time with the host families.

2月27日（月）

プログラムの開始です。最初にオリエンテーションを行いました。

February 27, the training programs started.

First of all, we did orientation.

その後、日本の医療保険制度について講義を受けました。

After that, they listened to a lecture about the Japanese medical insurance system.

本学の学生がウェルカムランチを開催しました。

At the lunch time, SCU students held the welcome lunch for NYP students.

午後、キャンパスツアーをして、3学部の演習室を見学しました。

During the campus tour in the afternoon, they visited the training rooms of the three schools.

母性看護実習室では、妊婦体験着をつけ、妊婦さんの状態を体験しました。

In the maternal nursing practice room, they wore a pregnancy suit and experienced how pregnant women feel.

2月28日（火）

午前中は、看護学科と作業療法学科に分かれ、本学のそれぞれの教育について講義を受けました。

On February 28, in the morning, they were divided into departments, and took a lecture about the SCU education.

それから、看護の学生は「おおぞら療育センター」へ行きました。

Then, nursing students went to the “Ozoraryoiku Center”.

作業療法の学生は本学の学生とワークショップを行いました。

OT students did workshops with SCU students.

午後、看護の学生は「ゆうゆうの里」を訪れ、居住者の方と家庭菜園をしているところを見たり、トークセッションを行いました。

In the afternoon, nursing students went to “Yu Yu-no sato”.

Residents were tending for the vegetable garden.

Also, we had a talk session with residents.

午後、作業療法の学生は「十字の園」を訪れました。居住者の方がシンガポールの国旗を手に持って歓迎してくださいました。

OT students went to “Jyuji-no-sono”.

The elderly residents welcomed us with the national flag of Singapore in their hands.

3月1日（水）

午前、看護の学生は、エンゼルケア（死後のメイク）を体験しました。

On March 1, in the morning, Nursing students experienced postmortem make-up; Angel care.

本学の多くの学生も参加し、とても良い体験になりました。

「かわいい（イー）！」と言ってこの写真を撮りました。

A lot of SCU students also participated and it was a good lesson.

We took this picture saying "Kawaii".

エンゼルケアの様子は看護学部のブログでも紹介されました

作業療法の学生は「根洗学園」を訪れました。

途中で、桜の木の下で写真撮影です。

OT students visited “Nearai Gakuen”.

On the way to Nearai Gakuen, they took a photo a flowering cherry blossom tree.

午後、全員で「聖隷三方原病院」を訪れました。

ホスピスや院内助産所を訪れました。

屋上ではドクターヘリを見ました。

In the afternoon, we visited the “Seirei-mikatahara hospital”.

We visited the hospice and midwifery section in the hospital.

On the roof, we saw an air ambulance.

その後、茶道の体験をしました。

In addition, they experienced the tea ceremony.

3月2日（木）

午前中は、「聖隷浜松リハビリテーション病院」を訪れました。

March 2, in the morning we went to the Seirei Hamamatsu Rehabilitation Center Hospital.

看護の学生は、嚥下障害の患者さんへのケアを見学しました。

作業療法の学生は、院内のケアを見学した後、「大きな木」を見学しました。

Nursing students observed the scene of the care for the patients with swallowing disorder.

After observing the care in the hospital, OT students visited "Okina-ki".

3月3日（金）

午前中、クロージングセレモニーを行いました。その中でグループディスカッション「ワールドカフェ」を行い、この研修で学んだことを共有しました。

藤本看護学部長、新宮作業療法学科長から修了証が手渡されました。

In the morning, we hold the closing ceremony, and did the "World cafe"; group discussion and shared what they have experienced during this study trip.

They are handed a certificate from the dean of Nursing School Ms. Fujimoto and chair of OT department Mr. Shingu.

その後、学生交流会を行いました。

たくさんのゲームをして楽しみました。

After that, we did some student interactive activities.

Everyone had fun doing a variety of games.

3月4日（土）

この日は、本学の学生と共に市内観光へ行きました。

On 4^th March, NYP students went to sightseeing with SCU students.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

この研修を通して、ナンヤン理工学院の学生の全員が楽しむことが出来たようで、とても良かったです。本学の学生はいつもナンヤン理工学院の学生の周りにいて、一緒に楽しんでいました。

During this study visit, it seemed that all of NYP students enjoyed themselves, which was really good.

SCU students were always around them and also enjoyed themselves with NYP students.

今後も、ナンヤン理工学院と良好な関係を続けて行けることを切に希望しています。

We do hope that we could keep this good relationship in the future!!

2017年2月9日（木）～2月22日（水）の14日間、第三軍医大学より看護教員1名、第三軍医大学附属西南医院より看護師1名が来学しました。学内での講義、聖隷関連施設（三方原病院、和合せいれいの里、おおぞら療育センター等）や浜松市保健所の見学を通して、日本の看護や感染症対策について学びました。

From January 9th to 22th, for two weeks, one nursing faculty from Third Miritary Medical University（TMMU） and one nurse from TMMU affiliated South West Hospital arrived at our university.
They have learned about Nursing and infection control measures in Japan through the lecture and facility visit (Seirei Mikatahara General Hospital, Wago-Seirei-nosato, Ozora Ryoiku Center, Health center, etc.).

3月に中国研修に行く学生とトークセッションをしました。

This is the scene in which trainees are having a round-table discussion with SCU students who are going to visit TMMU next March.

最後の修了式では藤本学部長より記念品を手渡されました。

At the closing ceremony, They are handed a souvenir from the dean of Nursing School Ms. Fujimoto.

最後に全員で記念写真を撮りました。

Lastly, we took a commemorative photo.

今後ますます両大学の交流が活発になることを期待しています。

We hope that the exchange between our two universities will become more active in the future.
