サミュエルメリット大学研修生がプログラムを修了しました。①
6月10日（月）から6月17日（月）の8日間、交流協定締結校のサミュエルメリット大学（SMU）より、看護学部の研修生10名と引率教員2名が本学を拠点として日本の保健医療福祉について学びました。期間中は施設見学のほか、学内講義や沐浴、エンゼルケアなどの学内演習に参加しました。
10 nursing students and 2 faculty members from Samuel Merritt University (SMU) in the US participated in the study program from Monday, June 10 to Monday, June 17. They visited hospitals and facilities and participated in lectures and exercises on campus.

～施設見学編～ About Facility Visit
おおぞら療育センター、聖隷三方原病院、訪問看護を見学し、日本の看護の特徴を学びました。アメリカの看護と比較することで、新しい発見が多くあった様子でした。
They visited "Ozora Ryoiku Center", "Seirei Mikatahara General Hospital" and "Home Visit Nursing" and learned characteristics of nursing in Japan. They found new things comparing to nursing in the US.

～学内講義・演習編～ About Lecutures and Exercises on Campus
＜沐浴の演習の様子 about Baby Bath Exercise＞
本学の学生と一緒に沐浴を体験しました。学生たちは、「アメリカでは沐浴の演習がないからとてもいい経験になった。」、「アメリカでは赤ちゃんをすぐお風呂にいれないので、文化の違いを知ることができた。」と感想を述べました。
They experienced baby bath exercise with SCU students. SMU students said that "It became a great experience because we don't practice baby bath in the US." , "We don't bath babies so soon. This is a cultural differences."
＜エンゼルケアの演習の様子 about Angel Care Exercise＞
本学の学生と一緒に沐浴を体験しました。SMUの学生は、「アメリカでは看護師はここまでしないので驚いた。」、「日本では看護師が患者を最期の時まで丁寧にケアする。」と感想を述べました。
They experienced angel care exercise with SCU students. SMU students said that "I was impressed because nueses don't do this much in the US." , "Nurses in Japan care patients carefully untill their last."
＜災害に関するシミュレーションの様子 about Simulation "Disaster Nursing"＞
シュミレーションの講義を受けて、SMUの学生たちは、「SCUでの災害対策が学べて参考になった。」、「シミュレーションがどのように災害看護教育で使われているか学べた。」と感想を述べました。
SMU students said that "I learned disaster countermeasures in SCU. This lecture was useful. " , "I learned how SCU faculty members use simulation in classes for disaster nursing."
